Wire Security Cage Features & Options
Wire cage panels are available in two types of mesh construction: woven and welded. Woven wire partitions are strong and sturdy, the best choice for high-security applications. Welded wire partitions use lighter gauge wire because the wire is welded at each intersection, creating solid and secure panels. Welded wire mesh cages are a more affordable option that will do well for general storage applications. Galvanized wire mesh cages are also available for high humidity and outdoor applications.
Wire security cages are constructed with modular panels. These panels come in standard sizes and are stacked to reach your desired height of up to 60 feet. The panels can be modified around pipes and other obstructions with standard bolt cutters for a custom fit. Visit our online store to see our industrial storage products.

Applications for Wire Cages
Machine Guarding
Wire partitions are perfect for machine guarding systems to form a barrier between machinery and personnel. These industrial partitions prevent theft or damage to equipment and protect employees from injury. Many industrial machine guarding applications include robotic cells, weld cells, laser cutting operations, metal stamping, and folding.
Tool Crib Cages
A tool crib cage is a wire mesh cage used to secure and organize tools and other equipment in an industrial or manufacturing setting. Tool crib cages use wire cages to secure inventory of tools and equipment to prevent theft or unauthorized access to anything from hand tools to power tools and other valuable items like electronics or test equipment.
Driver Cages
Driver cages control access to factories, distribution centers and warehouses. These wire mesh cages enclose building entry doors to confine visitors such as truck drivers and delivery personnel to a limited area. If these individuals wander around your facility, they risk being injured by automated machinery or fork trucks. Driver cages increase facility security and reduce insurance risks by preventing these unauthorized visitors from entering the work environment.
Data Center Cages
Data center cages secure servers, storage systems and other IT equipment within a large data center facility. These wire storage cages provide an extra layer of security for sensitive information and critical systems. Organizations with specific security or compliance requirements, such as financial institutions, government agencies, or healthcare organizations use them.
Tenant Locker Storage Cages
Tenant locker cages provide secure storage space for residents at apartments and condominiums. These lockable storage cages come standard with padlock lugs, with the option of three-point locks with keyed cylinders. These tenant storage cages have a standard configuration consisting of a front door panel and side walls, but ceiling panels, back panels, shelves and floor panels are also available.
DEA Cages
DEA cages secure and store controlled substances in compliance with the regulations set forth by the United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). Our DEA cages comply with Title 21 CFR Sections1301.72-1301.76 physical security controls.
DEA cages are used by pharmaceutical manufacturers, distributors, and other organizations that handle controlled substances. The cages prevent unauthorized access and ensure a secure and controlled environment.
Temporary Holding Cells
Temporary holding cells are wire security cages designed to temporarily confine prisoners at law enforcement facilities such as police stations, jails, courthouses, and juvenile detention centers. These detention cages locate hardware outside the cell cage, thus inaccessible to prisoners. A mortise cylinder lock is standard, but several other high-security options are available, including custom lock options.

Industrial Testimonials
“Working with Southwest Solutions including Matt, Susan, and especially Brad was great. They provide amazing customer service. Brad and the install team were especially great. Very professional, easy to work with, and did the work quickly and very well with very little input from us. If we need help with carousel storage moves, parts, or new equipment we will start with Southwest Solutions. ”
“The team at Southwest Solutions were nothing short of fantastic. First meeting with Craig, I received a customized design, in person, based on my office needs while still maintaining an efficient layout and being cost effective. Craig explained everything clearly, allowing me to understand that as modular mill-work, I would be able to move it if I ever changed offices, but without the added sales pressure to immediately make a decision. Once I had decided, I worked with Chris who assisted in picking out the finishes and scheduling the delivery and installation. The professionalism of Craig and Chris spoke volumes and I would highly recommend anyone looking to transform or fit-out an office to contact Southwest Solutions.”
“I want to let you know that we all really appreciated your team mentality, professionalism and dedication shown on this project. It was a pleasure working with you and your office and we look forward to many more. Please pass along my gratitude to everyone who worked on this project. Thanks! ”
“I just want to take a minute to let you know how good of a job your install crew did yesterday. They were quick, fast, courteous and very consensus during the install. They were awesome to say the least. Being in the service business ourselves, we know that you can never hear the words “Good Job” often enough. Please pass this along to your crew.”
