ADA Compliant Lab Fume Hood Design and Lighting Features
The ADA Compliant Lab Fume Hood comes complete with a full framed combination horizontal/vertical sliding sash window. The sash is glazed with 7/32” laminated safety glass and is counterweighted for one finger vertical operation. The four horizontal sliding panels glide on a dual track system for easy access to the ADA Compliant Lab Fume Hood. Fume Hood Checklist.
Double wall construction of the ADA Compliant Lab Fume Hood superstructure allows for easy installation of service fixtures and service lines. The entrance of the ADA Compliant Lab Fume Hood is framed with inward angled members to provide for smooth movement of air into the ADA Compliant Lab Fume Hood. The interior lining is white resin-chem and has a removable access panel on each interior side.
A fluorescent light fixture illuminates the interior of the ADA Compliant Lab Fume Hood. The light fixture is isolated from the ADA Compliant Lab Fume Hood’s interior by a sealed safety glass panel. Relamping of the fixture is accomplished from the top front of the superstructure.
