protect collections & maximize floor space
Museum cabinets protect your collections from deterioration caused by unnecessary exposure to light and dust. In addition, the cabinets also protect collections from excessive temperature, humidity, light, fire, water, gases, and pests. There are three types of specialized museum cabinets available to you: entomology, herbarium, and geology storage cabinets.
- Entomology drawer cabinets preserve stored insect specimens and seal securely to protect specimens from insects, rodents, light, dust, and water damage. The entomology storage cabinets feature a four or six-point latching system for air-tight storage, all-welded heavy duty construction, 100% non off-gassing silicon gaskets, compression handles and locks, lift-off and solid doors, a solvent-free powder-coated finish, as well as a leveling base and an optional extra large pull-out work shelf.
- Herbarium storage cabinets store and protect your plant specimens. The cabinets feature heavy-duty steel construction, a four-point latching system for air-tight storage, a compression handle and lock, 100% non off-gassing silicon gasketing, and a solvent-free powder-coated finish. The cabinets can accommodate full- and half-width trays and are one-inch adjustable with a leveling base and optional vents.
- Geology storage cabinets preserve and protect your fossils, soil, and rocks. The geology storage cabinets feature reinforced hinged doors and heavy-duty steel construction with four adjustable floor levelers, closed-cell pure silicon gasket seals, and a baked powder non off-gassing, non-reactive, solvent-free finish.
